Get to know Sarah Seggy Photography
This is me!
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to look at my page!
When you invest in wedding photography, you also invest in the photographer, so I’d love for you to know a bit more about me.
I am Sarah Segnitz from Sarah Seggy Photography and I married my husband Dave in 2004. The name "Seggy" comes from a family nickname which has been in the Segnitz family for a long time and I thought it would be a great family name to my business.
When I got married in 2004 the photos where very posed and not natural or candid photos which is what I love to capture now. I didn't have any photos getting ready or laughing with my Dad as he stood on the back of my dress! I don't have the photos of laughing with my bridemaids. So it gives me such a buzz to take the photos that are really telling the story of the day.
I have a beautiful 14 year old daughter who models a lot for me when I can persuade her too these days. I also have a basset hound called Stan who I adore and loves walks in the woods and surrounding fields of Woodford Halse with me.
Sharing my “why” behind what I do is important to me, and I hope when you make the decision to hire a wedding photographer that you not only look at their portfolio, but you also weigh that against their personality, too. After all, I want you to have fun and feel relaxed on your wedding day all while we create amazing images together.
One interesting fact about me - I am 6 ft tall! Yep, I get my ? height off my Mum's side of the family as she is 5ft 11". I can take pictures over most peoples heads.
Please get in touch and let me capture your wedding story.
Review - Emma and Dan
Sarah took some amazing photos and took extra shots that made the best of the weather (it was raining) which turned out amazing! Very friendly and made us both feel comfortable and the photos felt so natural with a selection of set photograph's as well as candid. Even the children were at ease with her. Overall she did an amazing job and felt like she was part of the wedding and not an outsider.
